A: Home visits are typically planned for approximately one hour. The actual duration flows naturally based on your family's engagement and the authentic moments unfolding during the visit. We prioritize genuine connection over rigid scheduling. Every experience is uniquely crafted to your family's pace and needs.

He moves at your child's pace, never forcing interaction, and uses his extensive training to create a welcoming, comfortable environment. Over the course of a visit, most children naturally warm to genuine connection. We also understand that some children remain reserved throughout—and that's completely authentic. Many families treasure candid photographs capturing their child's genuine reactions, exactly as they are. Please mention any shyness or anxiety during your pre-visit consultation so we can prepare and ensure your child feels safe and supported.
A: During your pre-visit consultation, you'll share family information. However, Santa Ben's true artistry lies in discovering names, interests, and wishes through genuine conversation during the visit itself. This keeps the experience authentic and spontaneous—Santa learns directly from your child, making every interaction feel real, personal, and earned.

A: Travel beyond 30 miles roundtrip from Reynoldsburg, Ohio incurs a fee of $2 per mile. For most events within the Greater Columbus area, travel fees are minimal or not required. We'll calculate exact travel costs when you book.

A: Yes. Santa Ben maintains $1M professional liability insurance, passes annual background checks, and is fully vaccinated. All documentation is available upon request. Your family's safety and peace of mind are our highest priorities.

A: In the rare event of an emergency or unforeseen circumstance, we'll provide a replacement Santa of equal caliber or offer a full refund. Your event's success is our commitment.
A: Absolutely. Santa Ben is trained and experienced in working with children of all abilities. Please mention any special needs, allergies, sensory sensitivities, or unique requests during your pre-visit consultation so we can prepare and ensure a safe, joyful, and fully supported experience for your child.
A: The 50% retainer is non-refundable unless Santa Ben cancels. If you cancel more than 30 calendar days before your event, the remaining balance is fully refundable. Cancellations within 30 days: any remaining balance is refundable only if Santa Ben books another event in your slot that equals or exceeds your event's investment.

A: For home visits, we proceed as planned unless conditions make travel unsafe. For outdoor corporate events, we'll work with you to reschedule if necessary. We'll discuss weather contingencies and backup plans during your pre-visit consultation.

A: Yes. For home visits, you can prepare wrapped gifts for Santa to present, adding a special dimension to the experience. To ensure gifts arrive safely in Santa's toy sack, please follow these guidelines:
Wrapping: Wrap gifts in boxes or paper rather than gift bags, as bags tend to shift during transport. If you must use gift bags, seal them securely so nothing would fall out if turned upside down.
Attachments: Don't attach anything to the outside of gifts or bags—ribbons, bows, and tags tend to catch and separate in Santa's sack.
Identification: Print names clearly in easy-to-read writing so Santa can identify each gift.

If you'd like to provide a tip, place it in an envelope like a Christmas card. Many families enjoy having their child present the envelope to Santa and ask him to share it with Mrs. Claus—this keeps the magic intact, as children should never see Santa handling money directly. We'll provide guidance on the best way to do this when your visit is confirmed.
