Santa Ben completed formal training through the Santa and the Business of Being Santa School, led by Hall of Fame Santa Gordon Bailey and hosted by the Ohio Santas Fellowship Group.
The program introduced the foundational elements of professional Santa work—covering topics such as guest interaction, improvisation, working with families of all needs, and the operational responsibilities behind delivering a thoughtful and well-prepared visit.
“This was where it all began—learning that being Santa is not just about appearance, but about how you connect, how you listen, and how you care for the people in front of you.”
As his first formal step into the role, this experience established a deliberate approach to portraying Santa—one rooted in preparation, authenticity, and a commitment to creating meaningful moments from the very beginning.
Every part of the journey traces back to this starting point—where the focus was first placed not on performance, but on presence, and on creating experiences that feel real for the families who welcome Santa into their homes.
